This program tackles the idea of ‘context’ and looks at one of the most important domains of context – namely, the extent to which strategising or plain operational decision-making takes place within an open market context or within a regulated context that requires a response from HR practitioners. The relationship between HR strategies and business strategies are explained and you’ll examine the implications for HR practice of a range of trends and developments including social changes and technological changes.
